Progress!

I am so happy to report that K- …oops! I almost wrote her name! Let’s try that again… I am so happy to report that K.Rae’s room is 90% complete!! Thanks to my darling husband-to-be who has been working nonstop on finishing the details! Yesterday I went into her room and was surprised at all he has done. It was soooo beautiful that it brought tears to my eyes. It’s exactly the vision we had and it’s not overwhelmingly pink at all! Al is a Leo and therefore very meticulous with his work so it’s not quite finished yet. Little things that you wouldn’t even notice are driving him crazy but he’s not going to be satisfied until he comes up with a solution for them. I’ll be sure to post pictures of it once we figure out how we want to place the furniture. You will not believe the transformation of that room!!


I’m also happy to report that we’ve made progress on the baby registry!!! However, we’re only about 50% done with that. Saturday morning, Al and I made our way to Babies R Us even though I did NOT want to go! I get in these funks where I just don’t want to be out in public, but he insisted that we get started on the dang thing.
As you can see, Al was in charge of the scanner while I just grunted at what I liked. *lol* I was in absolutely no mood to look at onesies or bottles or blankets or anything like that so we just went to the big stuff and got that knocked out. Al thinks the reason I’m not enthusiastic about the registry is because I hate window shopping! That’s the truth too!! If I’m not buying, I’m not looking! *lol* I tried to bribe him and say I’ll participate if we can buy just one thing for her. He didn’t go for it…I guess he also knows that once I start buying, I’m not rational enough to stop! Hi, I’m Karoline and I’m a recovering shop-o-holic. *lol* So we have the big stuff done and I can always add the little stuff online which is what I’m planning to do.
