Texas Bound...

No matter how hard I try to talk them out of it, Trychel and Taylor are leaving sunny southern California for....Texas.  I've never actually been to the state, so I have nothing bad to say about it but I do feel some type of way for them packing up and leaving us!  Too bad my opinion doesn't really matter!  *lol*

Yesterday the Woodses had a surprise party to wish them well in this endeavor and although we are all happy for their prospects, we are definitely sad to see them go.  Good thing we have another month to spend with them before the leave us.  *sniff sniff*

Okay, so I have to comment on Kali's hair.  Sundays are our get-your-hair-together days but the party was yesterday, Saturday, and I did not want to do her hair a day early.  I knew I was dressing her in an animal print romper so I thought it would be cute to pin up the sides of her hair.  I quickly found out that 2 year olds and bobby pins don't mix so I went to Plan B and twisted up the sides.  The girl truly looked like Jane of the Jungle!!  *lol* All she needed was a bone in her hair!

It was not quite the look I was going for, but hey....I certainly wasn't going to start over!  Of course I have to also comment on the pink feather hair thing too.  Everytime we go to Claire's to buy a new hair accessory for her, she always goes right over to the colorful clip in extensions and asks if she can have one.  A couple of weeks ago, I finally gave in figuring it's harmless she can play dress up at home.  This pink feather extension has now become her favorite thing!  She calls it her "long hairs" and she begged me to let her wear her long hairs to GG's house.  How could I say no?? It's so funny because she keeps up with it and swings it around as if it grew from her scalp.  *lol*  This girl keeps finding new ways to crack me up!
