Today Kalissa's school celebrated Father's Day by inviting all the dads to their 1st annual "Donuts with Dad". Of course Daddy was THRILLED to attend! *dripping with sarcasm* I was extra excited because I knew how happy Kali was going to be when he showed up at her school for breakfast.
This morning she begged me to let her "wear a pretty dress" but I don't like her to wear dresses to school because she's just way too active to act right in a dress without me around. I told her that she couldn't wear a dress but her outfit will be just as special. I even let her wear
sandals to school! That was an extra special treat because I only let her wear sneakers to school. She was too excited and just had to put her sandals on by herself. Then, she was ready for her date with Daddy!

Judging from Kali's milk mouth, there was plenty of donut eating and milk drinking going on! Notice she's missing her headband....and she wonders why I won't let her wear a dress without me! At the end of the celebration, Daddy surprised her (and me) by taking the rest of the day off and spending it with his baby girl. I'm sooooo jealous!
