Happy Father's Day!

Today Kalissa and I celebrated Father's Day with our favorite man!  Daddy didn't want anything but a day of peace and quiet so that's exactly what we gave him.  I offered to cook him breakfast and he said he'd like to have Eggs Benedict.  He'd never had it before and I'd never made it before but we watch Top Chef and Master Chef, so how hard could it be? *lol*  I did a little research on the dish and it seemed really easy but didn't sound so tasty.  Anyhoo, I got up this morning and served my man the breakfast he wished for:

The photo on the left is the Eggs Benedict.  It looked appetizing enough but after a couple of bites, he realized that it's not a dish that he really cares for.  I doubt it was my preparation skills, or at least that's what I'm hoping!  I told him he didn't have to eat it and I started over and made his usual breakfast, pictured on the right and consisting of eggs over easy, toast and bacon.  Much better!

Later, we made our way over to the Woods residence so that Kali could give her Father's Day present to Woody.  Of course she couldn't wait to visit with Baby Peyton (it's so cute that Kali doesn't call her Peyton...it's always Baby Peyton). 

What a great way to start our week -- showing our man exactly how much he means to us!  We love  you!
