5 Months of Curly Bliss!

Man, time sure does fly by! It seems like just yesterday that we decided to embrace Kali's curl pattern and just let it be. But looking at the calendar, it's been 5 whole months and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. We've gone from our first attempt at nap-tural freedom:

to a head full of beautiful curls!

What I love most about her hair is, even when she's having a bad hair day....you can't tell!  *lol*  The less 'conformed' it looks, the more style she seems to have.  *lol*  Not to mention that adding a headband or a flower seems to fix everything!  I'm still experimenting with products but I think I'm at the point where, if it ain't broke don't fix it. 

Her hair has definitely grown in these past 5 months



but it'll probably be another 5 months or so before I'll be able to do other hair styles.  Her hair has so much buoyancy, that nothing else turns out quite right at this length.  I tell ya, the more and more I play with her hair...the more and more I'm tempted to go natural myself!
