What do you do with your child's clothes that (s)he no longer wears??? Staying on track with getting my house back in order, I've come to this crossroad. I thought I would save them for baby number 2 but now I don't think that's such a good idea. One, we'd be hoping for a boy and I have a feeling we'd get him (I'm in good with Someone *lol*). Two, even if we did have another girl I know me--she'd get all new clothes. Three, we have no place to keep storing her clothes as fast as she's growing out of them. Soooooo, as it stands right now I have a pile of clothes ranging from NB to 3-6 months. Sadly, a lot of it she never even wore. And being a bit of a label snob (I'm working on nipping that), a lot of it is Polo, Guess, Calvin Klein, etc. Of course I never paid a lot for it...Marshalls is my best friend! So it's not about the money. I have a problem with giving it to Good Will because they're going to turn around and sell it. If I'm giving it to Good Will then they should give it to a mother in need. I'm not against hand-me-downs. If it's in good condition and you're offering, I'm happy to accept them. I'm sure there are other mothers out there in the same boat -- I just don't know any!! Then there's the option of ebay. Even if I sold everything for a dollar, I could make a little change and put it in Kalissa's saving account. But is it worth the hassle? What to do, what to do?? Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

Saying Goodbye...

I would post this photo on Ebay and Craigslist
List it as:
NB to 3-6months Baby Girl clothes entire LOT
Great Condition. As Is. No returns or refunds. Sold as is.
Sell it for $60 with free shipping to California or US ONLY.
List the Name brands and what is included in the box. Not every item but, a general description.
Tops
Pants
Shoes
Name brands
Put it on a 7 days auction and see what happens.
If after a week it doesn't sell. Check with your church to see if they have an outreach program that feed the homeless and provide clothes to the needy. This way you know they aren't selling the items and it will be used for a good cause.
I would just go with the option to sell them as a clothing LOT first. It doesn't hurt to get a little bit of change for your items.
Good Liuck!
Good thinking...I'll list it on ebay real quick and if it doesn't sell, I found a local charity that provides needy mothers with a care package of essentials that I can give them to.
There is also free cycle on yahoo. This is a great way to give to people who need. Or do the above with Craigslist.
Personally I have been keeping stuff for family. I am the first to have a kid in my family, so many will benefit from Thomas's old stuff.
What about donating to an org that helps abused women get back on their feet? A lot of women finally find strength to leave a bad relationship when they have a newborn because they realize their baby's life might be in danger. 1-888-305-SAFE could tell you about local shelters where you could donate.
