My friend, Sara, invited us to her son's first birthday party over the weekend. This would be Kalissa's first time getting to interact with kids her age. She's seen babies before but hasn't been around any since she became mobile. I didn't know how she would react but she jumped right in! Look at Thomas' face!!! He's like, "Get her off of me!" *lol* Both boys are a year old...Kalissa looks so tiny next to them. Awwwww!!!

Moving Out of the Way
Ever since Kali was born, I've been hearing the phrase "she's moving out of the way for the next one". Kalissa never really was a baby baby, meaning she wasn't as helpless as I had expected an infant to be. She was able to hold her head up within a few days of being born, ate from a spoon at 3 months, sprouted teeth at 3 1/2 months, then came crawling and standing at 5 months, etc. Everyone who is watching her grow up attributes this to her wanting to be independent so we can have another baby. I would love, love, LOVE to have another baby!!! I would love for her to have someone her size around all the time and I think she would love it too.

Kali is rolling up on the scene like WHAT? I am here let's play :) LOVE IT!
Thanks for coming over. Thomas wore himself out. He loves hanging out with other kids and it was good to see Kalissa jumping right into the action. And taking over sometimes. It was great to see you!
LOL! Way to stand up to those boys, Kali (lol). Girl power!
Toooo cute!
