Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

On Saturday Kalissa and I visited with my friend, Geraldine, and her daughter, Sofia. Geraldine and I used to work together and we were both pregnant at the same time with our first babies (Kalissa is 1 month older than Sofia). We've gotten the girls together a couple of times before but this was their first time being actually AWARE of each other.



Isn't Sofia BEE-YOU-TI-FUL?!? She was all over Kalissa from the start! *lol* I think Kali was a little taken aback because she's used to being the aggressor! But of course, after about a half hour Kalissa loosened up and started climbing all over Sofia (who didn't seem to mind one bit!).

During this playdate we found a new toy that Kalissa just LOVED. I went right out and bought her one yesterday. It's called the "ExerSaucer". She loves it because she's standing while playing and standing is her favorite thing to do right now. She's been in it up to 45 minutes without so much as a peep! It's great because I can wash dishes, vacuum, etc. while she is not only safe, but also HAPPY!! She can bounce and rock and she's loving all the different toys she can spin around to play with. This is the beauty of having playdates....I would have never known about this toy and it's also how we found out about the bumbo chair. I'm just learning as we go along!
