Yea!! After almost 2 months of being apart, Kali finally got to spend time with her sisters this weekend! As Candy and Qiana get older, they end up having more and more social things that they want to do in their home city, so we may not get to see them as often as we have been.
As soon as they walked through the door, Kali wasted NO time with bonding. They were surprised that she's actually talking now and can communicate quite well. I reminded them that two months is a loooong time for baby development so don't stay gone this long again or they'll miss everything! *lol*
In addition to catching up, we celebrated Qiana's 12th birthday with a cake and some shopping! I gave Kali a bite of cake and she loved it! This was her first attempt at eating cake again since having her own birthday cake (and she wanted no parts of it). We definitely have to keep the sweets away from her little chunky butt, she was enjoying it waaaay too much!
Kali had a blast this weekend and I'm sure she's looking forward to their next visit just as much as Daddy and I are.
