Zoo Days

Yesterday Kali and I met up with Taylor and Trychel for what's probably going to be our last outing with them before they leave for Texas in a couple of weeks.  Our plan was to meet at 2:00 but Trychel called me to say they were running late.  So I figured I'd give them a half hour so we arrived at 2:30.  Since they weren't there, we decided to get lunch.  Ummm....they finally arrived at ohhhh 4:30!!!  *lol*  But once Kali caught a glimpse of them, it was allllll good!

The best part was Taylor's hair!  She was wearing it in natural curls, just like Kalissa, and it was gorgeous and soooooo soft!  Kalissa was definitely tickled to finally see someone with hair like hers (she's been gravitating more and more to long, straight hair).

The girls had such a great time together.  Kalissa was extremely goofy and this was before she had her very first taste of cotton candy (thanks to Trychel)!  For some reason, Kalissa kept wanting to be a monkey and beat on her chest and she was also fascinated with digging in the noses of all the animal sculptures!  *lol* I had fun using our new camera for the first time.  It was a totally different experience getting to be up close and personal with the animals...through the zoom lens, of course. 

Kalissa may not really understand that Taylor and Trychel are moving away, but she certainly knows how to express that she doesn't want them to leave!
