Daddy: Ohhh....look at you! You look pretty.
Kali: Daddy, where my boobies go?
Daddy: You have no boobies.
Kali: I have no boobies?
Daddy: Yes, you have no bobbies. You're boob-less.
Kali: I not boob-less. I have nipple.
Needless to say, we were both holding back tears & laughter!!!!! Clearly, she thinks that breasts are an accessory that you put on and take off and she just can't figure out why her body is missing said accessory. Then, she went to my closet and put on a pair of my shoes and announced, "Now I go to work. See you later Mommy!" I played along and said, "Okay, see you later!" Kalissa headed to the door and actually tried to leave the house looking like this:
COMEDY!!!! Last weekend was also Halloween weekend and we decided not to dress her up. Instead, we took her to Sea World because we hadn't been in a while and it so happened that Sea World offered trick-or-treating for the kids. Kalissa also had it in her mind that it was Elmo's birthday and she just HAD to say "Happy Birthday" to him. We also took her on the teacup-spinning-around-ride for the first time. She patiently waited in line and watched the ride go around and around and seemed to be excited for her turn. But as soon as we sat in our little teacup, she got nervous and wanted to get off. We calmed her down and told her it would be fun and once the ride started she loved it. As usual, it was another great day at the park and she had a blast with all of the characters and photo-ops. Is there a button we can push to make her stay this age forever??? *sigh*
