Snow....in San Diego!

Today we took our baby to see a miracle....real snow in San Diego! Okay, it wasn't a miracle...just a new Christmas exhibit at Sea World. When we heard that the exhibit was coming, we ran out and bought Kali a snow suit so that she would be prepared!! *lol*

Today was a beautiful sunny winter day (about 75 degrees) so we thought it would be the perfect setting for her first snow experience. I thought she would be a little apprehensive about it being cold and slippery but that was NOT the case. We had a hard time keeping up with her! *lol* She kept running up the snow hill and sliding down on her butt. She had a blast!! So much that after Daddy and I had had enough and told her it was time to leave, SHE CRIED! We had to tell her that we would come back (hey....we never said it would be today!) to get her to cheer up. Then she said she wanted to see the "big dolphin" so we took that as an opportunity for her to forget all about the snow for now.


The exhibit will be here until the New Year and I'm sure we will definitely be back to let her play in it again!
