Kalissa went to her 15-month doctor's appointment today. She got rave reviews, yet again! The doctor observed her physical skills and asked about her verbal skills. She was very impressed when we told her that Kalissa can clearly speak at least 8 words in the right context. Not to brag, but...okay yes I am, I was being conservative when I said 8 words. Right now she says and uses correctly: eye, no, hi, mommy, daddy, monkey, dog, ball, baby, banana, bye-bye, me, and diaper. I feel like I'm forgetting a couple though. She also does sign language for more and please. Her sitter taught her that. The doctor said she was very advanced and to keep up the great work!
After she got 3 shots(poor baby!), we went on our merry way. We'll go back at 18 months.
Her size is pretty average and her official stats are:
weight: 23 1/4 pounds - 58%
length: 30 1/2 inches - 53%
head circumference: 19" - 96%!!!!
I think the thing I'm most excited about is that now at 15 months old she is finally growing some real hair!!! *lol* It still has some filling in to do around the sides...but, hey, I'll take it!!
