Ponies and Pootin'

Yesterday, KalissaBear turned 15 months old! Every month her interests change and this month its....ponies and breaking wind! *lol* It's the funniest thing! Every time she lets one go, she gets a big smile and looks around to see if we heard it. Oh yes, we heard it nasty girl! Then once we comment on it, she will make herself red in the face with trying to strain another one out! Once she realizes it doesn't work like that, she resorts to making the sound with her mouth. Aye yi yi! I hope this little fascination doesn't stick around for too long. Her other interest of late is her rocking horse. Oma got it for her for her first birthday but she just starting liking it maybe a month ago. She could climb on and off of it but she just recently discovered the 'rocking' part of it so it's now her new best friend.


Developmentally, Kalissa still amazes me. She's learning so many words and her memory is phenomenal. When Al asks her "where's PawPaw?" she goes to the picture of NaNa and PawPaw that we have. How does she remember that?!? She loves for you to read to her. She will bring you a book and demand that you read it. Oh, you're tired of that book? Well, too bad...keep on reading it over and over and over again! *lol* She's showing signs of being ready for potty training. After she goes into a corner to do her thing...she'll bring me a diaper before I get a chance to smell her. We have her potty set up in the bathroom so that she can get her playing with it out of her system. I still think we're another month or so away from seriously getting started with training her, but we'll see.

As far as her stats, she has a doctor's appointment tomorrow so I'll wait for the official numbers to post but I'll guess she's about 24 pounds and 31".
