False alarms that is. Yesterday my body decided to play tricks with me and give me more preterm labor. Oh joy - what fun. I wasn't in the least bit phased, because I knew right away these weren't true signs of labor. Al and I had our Childbirth classes over the weekend and we covered the differences of preterm and true labor. It's amazing how knowledge equals empowerment. Had we not taken our classes, I probably would have ended up at the hospital thinking the time was nearing. Instead, I knew I simply needed to go home and just rest and stay hydrated -- which is exactly what I did. Our little girl wasn't enjoying the false alarm...she kicked and turned and poked around all last night, and most of it wasn't pain-free! *lol*
Today, I'm still having a few sporadic contractions but again -- nothing to get me excited, just annoyed!
