Today Kali participated in her first parade in our brand new neighborhood with her brand new Girl Scouts troop. She finally graduated from a Brownie to a Junior but hasn't yet received her new green vest so she didn't wear one at all. This was her 1st time meeting the troop members and in true Kali fashion, she jumped right in and made new friends.
This 4th of July parade happens every year on the main street of our new neighborhood and it's only about a mile and a half long. The girls had bags of candy that they passed out to the spectators and Kali absolutely loved doing that. She said, "Mommy, it made me feel good to give people candy."
She's such a love bug!!
