Happy 9th Birthday!!

Today is Kalissa's 9th birthday!  We celebrated with a "Pink Ladies" themed birthday party on Saturday with her best girlfriends!  Since she will be going to a new school in just a couple of months, we wanted her to be able to party with her friends from school one last time in style!

The day started with everyone meeting at our house where we rolled out the pink carpet and 50's décor.  A Pink Ladies jacket and cat eye shades were waiting for each of her guests.

Once everyone arrived, the stretch Cadillac Escalade whisked them away to the Corvette Diner for lunch and games.  The Corvette Diner is a 50's themed restaurant that Kali loves to go to.

At the Corvette Diner, the girls dined on chicken fingers, burgers, and ice cream sundaes.  They were also treated to "crazy hair" decorations by our server.  I was worried that he would be shy about having to do Kali's hair but he didn't bat an eye and did his absolute best! LOL!

And finished up with a gigantic cotton candy birthday "cake".  Kali does not like cake but she loves cotton candy!  Luckily this place serves up the most impressive mound of cotton candy that you'll ever see!  Check out her smile!!!!

We wrapped up the afternoon with games in the arcade and a limo ride back home.  Our baby is officially 9!!!
