Well, here we are...back to where it all started! Last year, this was Kali's very first official 5k and here we are one year later and she's still running! To be exact, this was her 7th 5k with 6 of those being run in the first 5 months of this year. Check out her race bling, trophies and awards she's already earned at the tender age of 7! We're so proud of her! In addition to wanting to be a veterinarian, she also wants to be in the Olympics some day. We know she can do it if she tries!
We chose "The Flash" for this year's Superhero themed run and of course, the costumes were on point. : ) It was actually pouring rain this morning so we had ponchos ready to wear if we needed them but luckily we didn't. The rain held off for the time it took us to finish (31 minutes 16 seconds for Kali and 36 minutes 3 seconds for me) and then poured buckets not too long after!
Once again, we had a blast at this run. Here's a video of Kali running her heart out and a rare video of her showcasing her dance moves!
